Celebrating America 250
2026 is the year we celebrate America 250. 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. That mean big celebrations, big events, and taking time to learn and remember about the foundations of our country! Working with local government, religious organizations, and affiliate partners, Why I Love America is committed to making this year well remembered and well celebrated. As we reflect on the 250 years of this country, we are moving to rekindle patriotism, educate on the founding documents and fathers, and helping us all see God’s divine hand in the formation of this great nation.

Turning Frustration into Foundation
- Rekindling the Flame: We provide a space where loving your country is celebrated, not criticized. We move past the anger of the news cycle to find the shared gratitude that unites us as neighbors.
- The Blueprint of Liberty: We explore the Constitution not as a dusty relic, but as the active "owner’s manual" for a free society, teaching the brilliance of the Founders to a new generation.
- Acknowledging Providence: We honor the historical reality that America was built on spiritual soil. We foster an awareness of "God’s Hand" in our history, exploring how faith has guided our nation through its darkest nights.
The Power of Gathering
Patriotism isn’t meant to be practiced in solitude.
In a culture that often amplifies division, it is easy to feel like you are the only one holding onto these values. But when we come together, the isolation fades. Our events offer a sanctuary of unity—a place where you are not just an attendee, but a neighbor among friends.
“I finally felt like I was home.”
For the last few years, I’ve felt a heavy weight—like the values I grew up with were fading away. I was angry at the news and worried for my grandchildren. I almost didn’t come to the event because I thought it wouldn’t make a difference.
But standing there, listening to the reading of the Constitution alongside veterans, students, and families, that weight lifted. I realized I wasn’t the only one who still cherishes these things. I walked in feeling isolated, but I left with a peace I haven’t felt in years. The American spirit isn’t dead; it just needs us to wake it up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a political rally?
No. We are strictly non-partisan. Our loyalty is to principles, not political parties. We focus on the enduring ideas of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution—ideals that belong to all Americans, regardless of how they vote.
Why do you talk about "God's Hand"?
I don't know much about history. Can I still attend?
Absolutely. You are exactly who we are looking for. We avoid academic jargon and “dusty textbook” lectures. Our goal is to make the American story accessible, inspiring, and relevant to your life today.
